BMS Digital Price List - Excel Template Instructions

Note: The Excel file must include all required columns with the exact column names as specified below. Additional columns will be ignored.

Required Column Structure

Column Name	Description	Required?	Example
SlideID	Unique identifier for each slide	Yes	1, 2, 3, etc.
SlideType	Type of slide to display	Yes	product, category, announcement
SlideTemplate	Template layout to use	No	standard, header, announcement
SlideDuration	How long to display the slide (in seconds)	No	8 (default: 8 for products, 5 for categories, 10 for announcements)
SlideOrder	Order in which slides are displayed	No	1, 2, 3, etc.
ProductID	Product code or SKU	For product slides	FX82MS

Slide Types Explained

Product Slides

Use for displaying individual products with images and prices.

Required fields: SlideID, SlideType (value: "product"), ProductName, ImageFilename, PriceValue1
Default template: "standard"
Default duration: 8 seconds

Category Slides

Use for section headers or category introductions.

Required fields: SlideID, SlideType (value: "category"), CategoryName
Default template: "header"
Default duration: 5 seconds

Announcement Slides

Use for special offers, promotions, or important messages.

Required fields: SlideID, SlideType (value: "announcement"), AnnouncementTitle, AnnouncementText
Default template: "announcement"
Default duration: 10 seconds

Image Guidelines

Images should be uploaded to the 'images' folder
Recommended format: PNG or JPG with transparent background when possible
Recommended size: 1000x1000 pixels or larger
Maintain consistent aspect ratios for all product images
Ensure filenames exactly match what's listed in the Excel file

Important: After uploading your Excel file through the upload form, the system will convert it to JSON format. The digital displays will automatically update with the new information.
